2. 1. 3 死译成语,该简不简
成语一向是汉译英中的难点。冗长的成语翻译在不同语境中须加以变通或删减。但在学生看来,
汉语原文因运用了成语而读来琅琅上口或显得气势雄伟,对应的
英语表达法也会有类似效果,于是就出现了这样的情况:

学生译文:

该译文简洁、明了,就在于把两个成语合而为一,得体地译成英文。
